Talentscout360 MENTORSHIP

Mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps to guide a less experienced or less knowledgeable person. It is a learning and development partnership between someone with vast experience and someone who wants to learn.

Talentscout360 has a group of experienced MENTORS available to assist with “The Players” development.

Our MENTORS focus on the following 5 components of development:


It’s the knowledge and understanding of specific skills relating to your sport, improving these skills are necessary to play the game efficiently.

 This include (rugby relate):

Evasion skills, handling skills, contact skills, defence skills, maul skills, rucking skills, scrum skills, lineout skills, backline attack, kicking and catching & restarts.


It’s the knowledge and understanding of the game and application of its principles to achieve goals.

This includes:

Laws/ethics, game plan & principles.


It’s the knowledge and understanding of the physical components specifically related to age and development. This is:

Multi-sprint capabilities, strength and power, speed, agility and quickness, sports and position specific conditioning, team training programs, individualized training programs & establish recovery routes.

Personal & Lifestyle:

It’s the knowledge and understanding of issues related to self-awareness, self-development and establishing a balanced perspective. This includes:

Principle-centred values, pursue education/development, integration of sport, career and life goals, awareness of leadership demands and responsibilities, coping with set-backs/failure, self-reliance, patience to achieve long term goals and the pursuit of excellence.


It’s the knowledge and understanding of the psychological skills and strategies related to effective performance.

This includes: Pre-match preparation, individualized warm-up routines, physical relaxation, understanding/coping with arousal and anxiety, goal setting & concentration – functional roles.


Access to these MENTORS are limited to REGISTERED PLAYERS only.

Included in “THE PLAYERS” registration fee is one session with a MENTOR to determine and address possible areas of concern and compile a suggested pathway to correct these concerns.

Follow up sessions can then be booked at a mentor of your choice to assist “THE PLAYER” in his holistic development pathway. Cost of these sessions on request.

Being part of the MENTORSHIP PROGRAM will enhance “THE PLAYERS” profile.
